Description:
This PR adds a history variable that calculates a gridcell-level height that is the average across all patchs of the 95th percentile height. This allows us to compare with GEDI and other spaceborne or airborne lidar-derived metrics. Changes are from PR NGEET#1485 on the NGEET repo: NGEET#1485. It would be useful if we had these on the NorESM side for current calibration efforts.
